What happens if there is total fire ban declared on the day of our event ?
# Total fire ban means no open fire at all. Unless and until the event is at your home, we can use the grill in the garage, but not in any open space. If the event is at a park or a public place then we have to unfortunately cancel the event. In saying so, we keep a close eye on weather events and will be in touch with you since few days prior to the event so we can mutually find an alternative solution. Do you provide tastings?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our business, we at this stage cannot provide you with taste tastings. But in near future we have plans in pipeline to introduce people to our creations before you book us for your event.
Can I make up my own menu or make changes in your menus?
Absolutely! We love to help you create a special menu just for your party! All of the menus on this website are completely customizeable, you are welcome to make any additions or changes you prefer.
Can you provide for vegetarian and special dietary needs?
Please give us a call to discuss any special dietary needs you or your guests may have. We will try our best to cater to your requirements.
How far in advance should I reserve my date?
Wedding receptions typically book 4-12 months in advance. Corporate events usually have a shorter lead time. If we’re available, we can provide corporate lunches with a 48 hour notice. We suggest reserving your date as soon as it is confirmed. Summer weekends and all dates in December fill very quickly.
Do you have children's prices?
Kid’s menu is available for children between 5yrs-10yrs old and the meal is pre-plated, single served with generous portion size.
Do you provide wine or liquor?
Sorry, That Tikka Guy is not licensed to sell or serve alcohol, but we can guide you with recommendations on where to find the best buys and offer suggestions on selections which complement our food.
Do you setup and cleanup?
We will dress and set the buffet tables, clear the tables, and clean the service/kitchen area, leaving it as we have found it. If you wish us to set up and breakdown the guest tables and chairs, there is an additional fee of $45 an hour plus the travel time of the helping hand.
Besides the cost of food, what charges can I expect for a catered event?
When we provide your personalized proposal, we list of all of our estimated charges in order to provide you with a complete proposal. In addition to the package per person price, we include the following in each proposal (IF REQUESTED: rental upgrades or additions (that we obtain on your behalf), labor charges for service staff, and its transportation costs.
Is there a minimum pricing for you to cater?
Minimum pricing per party is applicable as per number of guest’s (excluding any extras that may apply)

How many chefs do you have?
Do you serve to our guests at the event?
As we are only two guys prepping, when possible, one of us will walk around interacting with the guests (of course as far as hosts does not mind us doing so) but as your hungry guests start to increase in numbers we will need both of us to prepare and cook so that’s why we put emphasis on setting up an appealing buffet station.
Does your price includes plates and cutlery and serviettes?
Yes, we do provide with good quality generic plastic plates, knives and forks along with serviettes. however, if you need bio-degradable disposals we need to factor that in the quote. please call us to discuss your requirements.
Do you have a time limit?
No. When you book us you book the day or the night. Most catering businesses have a time limit of 3 hours or so. We understand there can be stragglers or you just have a big party. We will not rush you. So relax and don’t bother looking at your watch. Of course this is within reason. If you decide to pull an all-nighter we will probably leave you with some dishes in foil containers.
Do you need power supply?
Yes. We will supply all power cables for electricity supply within 30 meters of source. If there is no power source within 30 meters, please let us know so that we may bring a generator. This may incur an extra charge depending on the number of guests, we will discuss these requirements in detail when we book the event.
Do you cater for corporate functions?
Our religious background requires no beef/no pork products. Can you still cater to our specific needs?
